Analyst - M&A
Medium to Long-Term Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
- Perform financial modelling and analysis to assess the feasibility of opportunities.
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors during the due diligence process, identifying and addressing key risks and opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, contracts, and other relevant documentation to provide detailed insights.
- Maintain and update the M&A pipeline and transaction tracking tools.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate finance, or related roles, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling tools.
- Knowledge of renewable energy markets, technologies, and regulatory frameworks (preferred).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, with a team-oriented mindset and a passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
